MEETING THE NEED FOR AUTOMATION ENGINEERING

About Us

Overberg Industrial Control was founded in 2021 to meet the growing need for reliable electrical, control and instrumentation engineering services in the Overberg region of the Western Cape. Based in Bot River, we provide practical industrial automation solutions for businesses that require dependable control systems, accurate process instrumentation and responsive technical support.

We specialise in Programmable Logic Controller programming, commonly known as PLC programming, as well as plant automation, control system integration and electrical panel design for motor control centres, or MCCs. Our work supports a wide range of industrial, municipal and agricultural operations, helping clients improve plant performance, process reliability, operational visibility and long-term system control.

From the early design specification stage through to installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault-finding, Overberg Industrial Control provides solutions that are practical, robust and suited to real operating environments. Whether we are developing a new automation system, upgrading an existing control panel, integrating PLCs and instrumentation, or assisting with plant breakdowns, our focus remains on reliable engineering and efficient operation.

Our central location in Bot River places us between Grabouw, Hermanus, Caledon and Kleinmond, allowing us to support clients across the Overberg, Cape Winelands and surrounding Western Cape areas. Overlooking Bot River’s wine route, with Caledon’s wind farm on the horizon, we are proud to be part of a region where agriculture, industry, infrastructure and technology continue to grow together.

We combine local accessibility with specialist technical knowledge in industrial automation, PLC control, MCC panel design and process instrumentation. Our goal is to provide dependable engineering support that keeps plants running safely, efficiently and with greater control.
